Welcome to Landkey Mazzard Hall. This website is to keep everyone updated about the progress of providing a new community building in the village. The proposed site is land that is already owned by the Parish Council at the top of the Millennium Green off Harford Way. We have now reached the stage of holding a pubic consultation which will take place on Thursday June 13th between 3 - 7pm in the Village Hall opposite the Castle Inn. All are welcome to come and view the plans as well as speak to the volunteer team helping to deliver this project along with the architect.

New for old
Our aspiration is to have a high quality community building on this land that will support a range of community and commercial uses as well as provide a hub for village activities. We want a building that the community can feel proud of and that is appropriate for our growing village. We are at the beginning of the process to make that happen.

Timeline
A number of community engagement events have been held to demonstrate the need for a new community building. Expert advice has been sought and given from other communities that have built new halls. This has all come together and a formal tender process was held - where Woodward Smith Architects were chosen to provide plans for the look of the new hall. A public consultation on those plans is now to take place.
