Welcome to Landkey Mazzard Hall. This website is designed to begin a conversation about what our village may need from a new community building. Landkey Parish Council already owns the land at the end of Harford Way as seen in the photos below. But funding has to be secured and a consultation with village residents and stakeholders carried out before a planning application can be submitted. As a result we don't have a start date for when building work may begin. Our survey asking people what they would like to have included in a new village facility has now closed. The results of the local residents survey can be found here.

New for old
Our aspiration is to have a high quality community building on this land that will support a range of community and commercial uses as well as provide a hub for village activities. We want a building that the community can feel proud of and that is appropriate for our growing village. We are at the beginning of the process to make that happen.
Timeline
Over the past six months we have been consulting with local residents, existing and potential users of community spaces in the village, local business and other organisations to help us get a better idea of what local needs the building could serve and to help us develop a vision for the building to take forward to the next stages of the process
Excitement
The prospect of a new community building at the top of the Millennium Green is very exciting for everyone. This project won't happen overnight. But we're really keen to hear from you. Please subscribe to our newsletter below to keep up to date with developments and follow us on social media.

Location

Landkey Mazzard Hall

The land that has been provided for Landkey Mazzard Hall used to be home to barns owned by a local farmer. The foundations of the site are visible after the buildings were removed by Devonshire Homes.
